The show was originally broadcast by Fox, from 2000 to 2006, for a total of 151 episodes. Its original network has not confirmed this yet but the series is said to be heading towards Disney+. 

As reported by Variety, Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek are among the original cast members set to appear in the show again. Series creator Linwood Boomer is also returning to executive produce and write the series. There is currently no mention if the rest of the original cast which included Christopher Kennedy Masterson, Justin Berfield, and Erik Per Sullivan will rejoin.
