It’s been 10 years since our beloved show Mahabharat, aired on Star Plus completed its run. The whole cast and crew members attended to honour this day at a hotel in Mumbai. To mark the event, a pilot episode was also created to let the fans get a taste of how the show started. Show creator Siddharth Kumar Tewary discussed the difficulties in creating the production and what issues arose during the making of the show.
On Holaquiz, we have covered the whole reunion for fans of the show. Let’s dive right into it!
The cast members and the producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary talked about the shooting phase and animated several episodes for the fans, featuring stories that never made it to the screen. And on the anniversary, the producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary showcased the outtakes and the makings of the Mahabharat.
The cast of Mahabharat like Shaheer Sheikh, Saurabh Raj Jain, Pooja Sharma, Rohit Bhardwaj, Saurav Gurjar, Arav Chowdharry, Aham Sharma, Riya Deepsi, Thakur Anoop Singh sat together and discussed the good olden days. Many things entertained them, stories from the direction to the endings of Mahabharat.
Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Statement on his Blockbuster Show ‘Mahabharat’
While illustrating how he got the idea to make the show, the creator of the Mahabharat series Siddharth Kumar Tewary discussed the matter with the media as pertained to the occasion. In his defence, when people inquired about his future projects, they attempted to talk him out of pursuing this direction. They commented, “This is a curse.”
Such hardships are also faced by creative individuals when a filmmaker or producer glorifies their works only to receive disappointing returns. Such a cycle, according to Siddharth, makes other creators gun-shy. He further added that he was baffled by the fact that observers thought he meant to portray Ekta Kapoor’s Mahabharata. “Of course. I have never made such a show.” Such a massive production necessitates extensive knowledge, he continued. However, if people with that much knowledge falter, that certainly impacts others, observed Siddharth.
According to him, this is only one of the challenges they faced, however, there are many more that they had to confront while creating Mahabharata. It was postponed for a variety of issues and I think he had 2 to 3 actors in mind long before the filming began. As he talked about it, he said, “What motivated me was the conviction that in today’s world, this story has to be told. It applies to every section of the society.” The narrative of Mahabharat is not without its reasons, one of the reasons that Siddharth had to say about it.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is set to be one of the game-changers in the entertainment sector as it integrates a whole new level of creativity and efficiency. AI fuels imagination in plotting stories, figuring out how each viewer would best appreciate the material, as well as constructing the plot from scratch and much more.
It is changing the norms and allowing the directors, musicians, and game developers as well to complete stages that were impossible at best earlier. But with these transitions, there are also downsides such as ethical issues and job displacements. It is not only several decades out of primary industry advancement but rather the whole paradigm shifts about the creation and consumption of entertainment.
The history of AI in entertainment is developed and exciting at the same time and gives a glimpse of what is to come.
AI in Film Production
AI has increasingly become part of the core of the modern filmmaking industry, particularly concerning the pre and post-production phases. Machine learning-based tools assist in location and budget scoping as well as casting thereby saving time. In the course of production, AI-based special effects improve realism and allow for stunning visuals to be captured with great detail.
What used to take months of work, that is complex CGI sequences, can now be produced rather quickly with the use of AI algorithms. Moreover, AI also helps in film editing by providing shots in which action occurs in sufficient measure about the intended storyline. This inclusion makes it possible for directors to concentrate on the narration and storytelling aspects of the film. AI’s contribution to the filmmaking process is therefore more than auxiliary, it is central to new ideas and creativity.
AI in Scriptwriting
One of the emerging trends in august practices of scriptwriting is the amalgamation of technologies and AI in scriptwriting. There have been advanced algorithms which can go through thousands of scripts and come up with patterns, themes and potential audience targets that will make the scripts appealing. Creative AI essay writing involves assisting the writers of scripts by providing the necessary twists, dialogues, and the relevant character arcs thus making it easier to write the relevant screenplays.
Without a doubt, AI has many limitations but one thing it has is integrating ideas while minimizing repetitive actions for the automated and creative tasks for the authors. This merger connects all forms of creativity and production thus the writer is left with the intricate art aspects of writing. With time and development of AI, its engagement in script writing will grow wider altering how stories are written and how the stories are structured.
Artificial Intelligence and the Embedding of Personalization
With all the capabilities that have been advanced in modernity, a changing paradigm has emerged and personalization has become the order of the day in entertainment, the driving engine being artificial intelligence. For instance, in instances where users are engaged in watching shows or listening to music, platforms like Netflix and Spotify which operate AI recommendation engines tend to observe the patterns of user habits thus ensuring content bending.
The same applies to predictive analytics since they help creators to foresee audience tendencies which will help them in synchronizing audience expectations and the needs of the viewers. Browsing through different platforms, the AI can target ads specifically to the users that will most likely engage with them much further resulting in super engagement.
Apart from passive engagement, AI integration has made interactive content, for instance, choose-your-adventure stories, popular since it allows for real-time changes to the content. To say the least, this integration creates an artificial and structural partnership between the audiences and the creatives since the created content has insights about the audiences as well as the companies’ perspectives.
Virtual Actors and AI Characters
As a result of AI, we have entered the stage of virtual actors, changing the definition of the word acting. Using AI technology, it is realistic to build virtual characters to express emotion and facial and body movements. Such characters powered by AI are on the increase in animation, gaming, and even drama.
These characters do have some creative edges such as performing flaming swords and unimaginative scenery. But the problems of morality arise as well. Relatively major concerns include the values of originality, control over the creative act, and the replacement of real performers.
There is another aspect as well, AI characters can come out in their lives and visually merge technology with creativity in a unique way. Their emergence demonstrates how AI might revolutionize the aesthetic and moral aspects of art and its diverse forms of entertainment.
AI in Music Composition
AI today is merging creativity and technology in the music domain. Programs such as OpenAI’s MuseNet and Google’s Magenta are making waves with their ability to create very put-together melodies, symphonies, or beats that humans have made in the past. Such algorithms learn the parameters of music styles and develop new music content, most often, combining the styles in a novel way.
Such musicians utilize AI in such a manner as to seek out new sounds, improve songs, or compose alongside such in their creative process. Although some worry that AI may come to usurp the human touch in artwork, more often than not, it acts as the co-creator of the work. Since it does not only enhance the creating and performing aspect of music, but also enables previously impossible experiences to exist, AI is not just an instrument of music, but an entity that alters the language of music.
Gaming and Immersive Experiences
The gaming space is an example of the domination of AI, which provides the players with a high level of interactivity and immersion. AI-animated non-playable characters (NPCs) can respond on the fly to the situations in the game, thus enabling fluid and engaging storytelling. A different AI technology, procedural generation, creates huge game universes that are different with each session of playing.
Apart from the core game, AI also improves the experience of the players by offering appropriate players to them, and through analytics, which are also conducted on the fly. AI is also important in VR and AR games, in that they help produce realistic settings. The AI and game combination extends the vast possibilities and opportunities of patronization while creating a completely new level of gameplay and creativity.
AI in Marketing and Promotion
AI-based marketing campaigns in the entertainment industry have gone a notch higher with AI’s involvement. The AI creates messages dedicated to the lowest cost and highest interest by processing great volumes of data. High-conversion POS tools predict certain movies’ coin office and streaming demand and shape up marketing and promotion dynamics.
AI even customizes the marketing message by adjusting the footage of the ad’s trailer or short video for each viewer. AI is also used in social networks for the selection of time and the audience for posting adverts. Such positive developments improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Efforts are conserved, and revenue opportunities are expanded. AI in entertainment marketing is changing the way authors meet consumers, making efforts and the results of campaigns, better.
AI in Live Entertainment
AI is revolutionizing the live entertainment industry with its incorporation into events, aiming to provide interactivity and a sense of wonder. The experience of attending concerts, plays or sports events is taken to the next level with the integration of AR and VR technologies. The use of AI makes it possible to analyze the crowd’s behaviour and accordingly adjust the performance in real-time.
Light effects, sound effects and animations of 3D holograms based on AI impress the audiences. Besides, modern technologies powered by AI also help with organizational issues such as ticket sales or booking seats in the venue. AI has changed the parameters of performing arts in the sense that combining art with modern technology brings a whole new level of interaction and personalization to the audiences and artists.
Conclusion
Soon, AI will be embedded within artistic practices and will co-exist with humans in ways that will enhance the possibilities of various practices and expand the scope of art even further. With time, human intervention will be minimal, but enhancement using specific tools or AI will always be needed. Once rudimentary creative tasks that professionals have to accomplish in all facets of modern art are left behind, artists will be able to create faster than ever before. In such cases, the artist is not confined to time, the artist’s sufferings are utterly irrelevant.
One of the downsides of such a time is that artistic creativity will become tangled in generative AI and will blend with everyday life so much that truly brilliant art will be hard to find. Such crucial change, self-isolation due to hollow art, will change the perception of how artists can be perceived and appreciated, as artists will be born out of self-interest and will have a motive for creating purely out of need.

Defending champion Ding Liren of China faces India’s D Gukesh in the FIDE World Chess Championship set to take place in Singapore on November 25 2024.
The match will be held at Resorts World in Sentosa, a resort island located near the southern part of Singapore.
This is the second time the championship has been hosted in Southeast Asia since it was last staged in Baguio in 1978.
The first game is scheduled to be played on November 25, with the inaugural ceremony planned for November 23, 2024.
The last round, the 14th round is to be played on December 12, with the following date allocated for tiebreaks in case of an outcome where no contestant has an advantage.
An 18-year-old Gukesh cradles the unheard-of ambition of becoming the youngest-ever World Chess Championship in Singapore’s Resorts World Sentosa with Ding Liren as his opponent. The World Chess Championship title has been held since 1886.
Further, Gukesh has made plenty of history already. He was the youngest ever to participate in the World Chess Championship, he was also the youngest victor of the Australia-based ultra-competitive Candidates tournament which earned him a slot in the World Chess Championship.
Two Asians will put on a show for the World Chess Championship and they will for the first time in history compete with each other.
Before the first game of the World Chess Championship, here is an ultimate preview of the battle between Gukesh and Ding Liren by Holaquiz
How Does the World Chess Championship Work?
This time however fingures will cross as the final Player of the Candidates is Marrriku Koziak. To win the World Chess Championship Fund the next player will need to obtain a credit score of 7.5 points and higher. If it turns out that by the end the standing remains 4 to 4 then the decision will be made on the next day’s games if the tiebreaks match still exists.
During a game, the second player will be provided with 120 minutes to be utilized on the chessboard on the first forty moves. After reaching the 41st move, they stop getting additional moves and receive thirty more minutes for the rest of the game. The move 41 starts with an additional thirty seconds.
Magnus Carlsen, Garry Kasparov, Hikaru Nakamura, Anish Giri and many such Grandmasters have already endorsed Gukesh to have the highest chance of winning the event. Ding Liren himself has also revealed that he is quite tense about how the World Chess Championship fight will turn out to be bad for him.
On the other hand, Gukesh is not confused and has shown great assertiveness to outsmart his opponents and has definitely taken illusions to face.
“For me, it’s pretty clear who I am facing. Ding has been one of the best players in the world for over a decade. My job is pretty clear: go to every game as the best version of myself and play the best moves in position. Play good chess, play in the right spirit. If I am doing the right things then no matter what version sits in front of me — his recent form dip or whether he’s at his best doesn’t really matter to me. If I am doing the right things, I will have all the chances in the world,” Gukesh said at the press conference.
