Rahman and Saira Banu coming to an end came as a shock to the fans and the industry as well. Along with this development, it also brings to the forefront an event which happened in 2023 where AR Rahman came out to the defence of his wife after actress Kasturi Shankar made a remark about her.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the Vikatan Awards in 2023, actress Kasturi Shankar posted a clip of the ceremony that she attended and raised doubts about Saira Banu\u2019s understanding and knowledge of Tamil.
