The long-awaited ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein’ is back with another season with its fantastic star cast including Shweta Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and Aanchal Singh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the suspenseful cliffhanger in the first season, the audience was gripped in the chair. And the future episodes seem to focus on the exploration of darker and even more underlying secrets around Vikrant, Purva, and Shikha. At least judging by the trailer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a good thing this season seems to crank up the action as well as the murder mystery, so fans want to know whether Vikrant and Shikha are ever going to be reunited in happy endings. The Penguin, which is a spin-off from The Batman (2022), the new HBO show tells the story of Oswald Cobblepot. He is also The Penguin and becomes popular in Gotham City\u2019s crime world. This OTT builds on the man\u2019s noir original film and allows Batman fans to encounter a new perspective in the franchise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike most superhero content out there, The Penguin tells a story about the rise of one of Gotham\u2019s villains, instead of depicting the Xbox hero who has a cricket suit hence, the film chooses to portray the darker side of the story, The Penguin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The events of The Batman lead straight into this series as it examines the Penguin pulling every string he can to establish foundations in Gotham\u2019s criminal underworld. With Carmine Falcone dead and Gotham\u2019s infrastructure crumbling, Penguin gets a chance to crawl his way up. The focus to which he is shifted from a mid-level mobster to a huge player in the crime scene is the core premise, hence making The Penguin, which is more custom to The Sopranos, if I can put it this way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series has done well to not make too much of Batman so that Penguin can realistically be a lead character. With the shield of Gotham’s hero out of the picture, it also provides for an interesting and brand-new dynamic in which Oswald is free to use his imagination in morally unconstitutional areas. This departure seems a lot new to the genre and adds new layers to the Gotham underworld without too much dependence on superheroes fighting and villainy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
