The winner of the F1 World Championship for four consecutive years, Max Verstappen along with his girlfriend Kelly Piquet, officially announced on Friday that they are expecting their first child together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It appears Kelly Piquet was the fortunate one sharing this news on her social media as she and her partner Verstappen posted a baby bump photo along with the caption-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not to forget that this will be quite a welcome shift for Red Bull Racing Niko, who has made news more recently regarding his fiery difference with Mercedes\u2019 George Russell, following the recently concluded Qatar GP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Verstappen was very upset with Russell over his penalty and labelled Russell as a two-faced personality in an interview. Recently the Mercedes driver sought to attack the Netherlands, claiming that Verstappen, whom he described as a \u2018bully\u2019, had been encouraging drivers to attempt to crash into them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s not the type of role model we ought to have in sport. It does not put it too nicely, but that\u2019s how Russell put it: \u201cFor example, why are champions like Robinson saying I\u2019ll do everything possible in the next race just to put the head of someone to the ground.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, it appeared that all their disputes were brushed aside when the pair joined all the F1 drivers for the F1 Drivers Annual Dinner which was hosted by Lewis Hamilton this year. However, it was Valtteri Bottas who paid for this meal that was sponsored by the British driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Aston Martin duo of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll were among the key entities who missed the dinner. Another notable absentee was Haas driver Kevin Magnussen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While some drivers were absent, Lando Norris took this opportunity to take to his Instagram account to give some cryptic messages in relation to the recent heated argument that took place between George Russell and Max Verstappen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kelly Piquet was born in Homburg, Germany. The young lady is the offspring of Nelson Piquet, a Brazilian professional racing driver and, a three-time Formula One World Champion, and Sylvia Tamsma, a model from the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During her college years, she undertook a fashion internship and later on opted to stay in the line. She worked at Vogue Latinoamerica, Bergdorf Goodman, and KCD PR agency, besides being a columnist for Marie Claire magazine Piquet worked as a model with PatBO and Lucas Boccal\u00e3o. She has walked in a couple of fashion shows. In April 2015, Piquet began covering social networks of Formula E championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In January of 2017, Piquet started a relationship with Russian F1 Driver Daniil Kvyat. They gave birth to their first daughter together in July 2019 and they named her Penelope. The couple broke up in December of the same year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since October of 2020, Piquet has been in a relationship with the Dutch driver Max Verstappen who is a world champion in Formulate 1. Almost 4 years into the relationship on December 6th 2024, Verstappen shared the news on his Instagram that they are expecting their firstborn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
